Okay so this is looking like its going to be my new online home. Yahoo Small Business, my former host, separated themselves from their partnership with AT&T. Those of us with old accounts were apparently sent emails saying we had to sign the new TOS agreement or we would be dropped. Well apparently I, along with thousands of other small business owners, missed that email and got dropped just in time for Small Business Saturday. I'll take some of the responsibility for not being on top of my old account any more than paying the bill, but that said It really seems like this was handled terribly. I could contact them and sign a new more expensive contract and they might be able to recover my old website but no thank you. This is the excuse I've been looking for to jump off that mess of a ship. The only thing I have left to do is get my old domain (aacs.biz) transferred from Yahoo to GoDaddy. That should be easy but Yahoo's tech support is utterly overwhelmed right now because of this debacle. Anyways, keep coming around! More non website related posts soon. Like maybe in a minute.
